VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Holding the hand of someone who feels alone or helping with a game of BINGO can bring joy to those living in a nursing home. It takes a special person to volunteer, it takes a calling to volunteer in a nursing home, many of our volunteers have a special place in their heart for seniors. The feeling of completeness and fulfillment that comes from volunteering is the reward experienced by those willing to enrich the lives of our community’s citizens.

Volunteers can donate…
their time in many different ways at The Lingenfelter Center including:

✓ Spending time with residents
✓ Assisting staff and residents at meal times
✓ Participating in holiday celebrations and birthday parties
✓ Participating and helping with BBQ’s
✓ Bringing refreshments to residents
✓ Pet therapy

Because of the vulnerable nature of our residents, volunteers are required to obtain a clean fingerprint card and pass a background check. Individuals interested in volunteering at The Lingenfelter Center should call Human Resources at (928) 718-4852.
